Salt In The Wound Continuation to Dead On The Floor edition by Rocky Rochford Literature Fiction eBooks
When I first read Dead on the Floor, I thought it interesting to begin a series at what was essentially the end. However, as I read Rochford's latest installment in the Entwined Saga, Salt in the Wound, I realize that he is crafting a sort of jigsaw for us to piece together bit by bit.The storyline for Salt in the Wound takes place just after the death of Matthew Radley. Readers are introduced to Siobhan, the reason why Mathew has killed himself. As we begin to learn a bit about her, we also learn about another character, Keith, and get the feeling that he is sort of the "arch nemesis" of Mathew, though we are not given any specific detail...yet.
The story itself is well paced and the style is classic Rochford. It's a quick and entertaining piece of the puzzle, yet it is only a piece. One criticism is that after reading this installment, I am left with many more questions than when I first began. The style of this saga is reminiscent of an old time radio drama in which you are given just enough information to keep you coming back for more. It's a fun, contemporary read.

Salt In The Wound Continuation to Dead On The Floor edition by Rocky Rochford Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This was the second short story I have read by Rocky Rochford. The first was ‘Dead on the floor’ – the story which precedes this one, and the beginning (though, ironically, the end) of Matthew Radley’s tale. ‘Salt in the wound’ continued the story of Matthew and his unfortunate end. I have to say that I preferred this one. Dead on the floor was quite dark and depressing. It was all about the guy’s thoughts as he killed himself, which means it was very insular. This one was from the perspective of the girl he had loved (who was the reason he killed himself). It was really interesting to get another side to his story and to see things from a different perspective. I really enjoyed the action at the end too – it was quite unexpected!
